Next summer we are planning to spread the influence that God has given us throughout the state, into a neighboring state, and across the ocean in Ghana, West Africa. In January we will begin asking teens to take a leap of faith and join us on one of our three "Student Thunder" trips. The idea behind this three-pronged approach is to
1) challenge students to think bigger than their SD town as they grow older
2) to tithe our missionaries to God for use in other places, helping hem catch the greater vision of reaching children for Christ around the country and around the world! Would you or someone you know like to be involved in the 2008 Student Thunder Program?

It is certainly a praise that God has provided two new individuals to talk to about coming on staff with CEF of SD, and we are currently praying that God's will to be done in the situation. As of this point, however, we are still in the introduction/talking stages, so the two new director positions (in Mitchell and the Black Hills) are still open for applications. I first heard about CEF in 1996 from a small blurb in my church bulletin, so maybe this small blurb will do the same for you. I also wouldn't have noticed the advertisement if someone else hadn't pointed it out to me.
